I drive by these a few times a day and have often thought I should come back and shoot here. Today all I had with me was my new 7D a 35 2.0 and, luckily a willing model. So we took a few minutes and shot some frames. I might have preferred a longer lens but you go with what you have and I have been trying primes mostly these days anyway. So here are a few shots. The last two I am undecided on which to keep. Smiling in photos always reminds me of Christmas pictures or something equally painful. Still I think I like the shot anyway even if its a bit goofy. We were having fun and it shows.

Maybe it’s not like a Calvin Klein advertisement.
Don’t get me wrong, I like fashion. Something about a different subject, a different venue and the absence of $1000 light modifiers has a simplicity (and an edge) that gets my mind working on a different channel.
Take an Atlanta Motel, some fast primes, tainted ambient and cooperative subjects and this is what you get.
